The University of Virginia Visual History collection comprises photographs taken primarily by David Skinner, University photographer, during the 1960s and 1970s. Generally speaking UVA owns the copyright in these images and welcomes the use of the images for educational purposes, non-commercial uses, and in documentary films and publications.  We do not require a signed permission agreement.  If an agreement is needed please contact Brandon Butler. Please attribute photographs from the collection as follows: “Provided by the University of Virginia Library.”
