Q. Does the Library or the University have a license for Camtasia or other screencasting software?

The University doesn't have any software for screen-casting. One option is to buy a license for Camtasia, a user-friendly screen capture and recording software. It is $169 for the educational license but does have a free trial mode.

Snagit is another paid software that has a 15 day free software and costs $29.95 for the educational license.

The Library has a subscription to lynda.com which has tutorials for both Camtasia and Snagit
