See information below about the online finding aid for the Survey Reports of the Virginia Colonial Records Project, Micfilm 7477

Use the VCRP database to find reel numbers for individual titles (see helpful guide on the material indexed in the database and on searching the database.) This database is an index to nearly 15,000 reports that survey and describe documents relating to colonial Virginia history that are housed in repositories in Great Britain and other European countries. The survey report images are available online, and there are references to microfilm reels for the original documents. NOTE: In the Advanced VCRP search you can search by personal- name, ship-name, repository name, document title, and Survey Report number. Keyword and combination (Boolean) searches are available too.

There is also a print finding aid, A Key to Survey Reports and Microfilm of the Virginia Colonial records project (2v), located in the Microfilm Guides area. Call number Guide Micfilm 7477.

See information on the Virginia Colonial Records Project from the Library of Virginia.
