Hourly parking for visitors to UVA can be found in several nearby locations, though all will require a short walk to arrive at the libraries. If visiting Shannon, Clemons, or Special Collections there are various nearby two-hour spots along Main Street and metered spots on McCormick Street that are first-come, first-serve.  You may also wish to try the Central Grounds Garage on Emmet Street, under the University Bookstore, which is central to most library locations, or the Culbreth Garage, which is nearer to the Fine Arts Library.  The Brown Science & Engineering Library, located in Clark Hall, has a few metered spots available in the lot directly behind the building.  This is also the closest parking lot to the Music Library in Old Cabell Hall.  Most restricted lots become available on weekends and after 5pm on weekdays.  The University uses the ParkMobile app for its paid parking spaces and garages.
