Q. Who do I ask if I can’t find a particular book?

If you can’t find the book on the shelf, ask at the service and information desk at the library where the book is supposed to be located. Staff there can help you check the book isn't in it's spot, have others search for the book, and mark it missing if it's not located. 

If you're seeking a book UVA Library doesn’t own, request the item via Interlibrary Loan and they will order the book from another library. If you'd like the book to be added to the library collection, fill out this form.
