The libraries allow unlimited renewals of most materials.  Circulation Policies lists the exceptions.  Materials that may not be renewed include: items that have been recalled from you (i.e. requested by someone else) and journal issues and volumes.  DVDs can be renewed once.  You can renew items online through your library account, by phone, or by bringing them into the library.  You can also respond to library emails regarding your checked out materials, i.e., due date reminders or overdue notices, to have the materials renewed.

Some, but not all, Interlibrary Loan materials may be renewed: you can do this through by logging into your account on the Interlibrary Services/LEO website or by phone, 434-982-2617
