- UVA students
- UVA faculty
- UVA staff
- UVA alumni
- UVA research projects
- Individuals associated with UVA agencies by specific arrangement
- Virginia residents (at least 16 years of age)
- Faculty and students at other Virginia higher education institutions
- Independent researchers (upon presentation of a picture ID)
- Faculty from OCLC Reciprocal Faculty Borrowing Program institutions
